Kandhamal

Having risen from nowhere to becoming a founder of the most sought after universities in India and then MP of Kandhamal, a tribal-dominated place in Odisha, made him work on a wider scale. Kandhamal district has a population of 733,110. To ensure the development of every individual, Dr Samanta has started ambulance services and a 500 bedded hospital for improving health care services of the people. He has then signed MoUs with Mahashay Dharampal Gulati the founder of MDH groups to establish a branch of KISS and a factory of MDH. This factory will uplift residents of Kandhamal by providing them with employment. Whilst KISS will ensure free education of indigenous children staying in the area. Moreover, Samanta aims to establish another manufacturing company preferably steel to utilise the minerals rich areas of Kandhamal and make the place financially strong.

Furthermore, he has been striving to bring the indigenous into the mainstream and constantly promoting, supporting and safeguarding rights of the human, environment and global concerns that affect sustainability.
